According to the NBC poll, 46 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 said they would vote for Trump, compared to a smaller 42 percent for Biden. The poll has former President Trump beating Biden in a hypothetical general election matchup, 46 to 44 percent.
One issue that the President has seen the biggest issue is his handling of foreign policy, where only 33 percent approve of his performance. On Biden’s handling of the war between Israel and Hamas, 70 percent of respondents aged 18-34 disapprove of the job Biden has done.
NBC is not the only organization to find that Biden is struggling with young voters in the polls; numerous public surveys have yielded similar conclusions. Other recent high-profile polls from CNN and The New York Times/Siena show the youth vote moving right.
“This poll is a stunner,” Democratic pollster Jeff Horwitt of Hart Research Associate said of the results, “and it’s stunning because of the impact the Israel-Hamas war is having on Biden.”

She welcomed them with open arms, quoting the welcoming message from the Statue of Liberty touting the state’s sanctuary status. A few days ago, she changed her tune due to the ongoing migrant crisis:
“If you’re going to leave your country, go somewhere else. We have to let the word out that when you come to New York, you’re not going to have more hotel rooms. We don’t have capacity, so we have to also message properly.”
She advocated for people to enter the country properly: “The smarter thing is to apply for asylum before you leave your country.” Immigration plays a key role in our economy and labor force, but it must be done through the correct channels. If New York is struggling to accept more migrants, then we have a serious problem!

Til det siger Carville “Where there good people on both sides in Charlottesville? Did I hear that or did I make that up?”, sigtende til den løgn, at Trump skulle have kaldt nazister ‘fine mennesker’.
Foran en overvejende venstreorienteret publikum, retter Rubin ham og siger at Trump eksplicit tog afstand fra nazisterne og ikke regnede dem med, i de mange mennesker, der debatterede, hvilke statuer man burde have i det offentlige rum. Og Maher, der gerne vil være en høflig vært slog halv skade ved at give Rubin ret og blot sige at det var ‘dårligt formuleret’ af Trump. Charlottesville løgnen var Bidens årsag til at stille op mod Trump i 2020.
Skuespilleren Michael Rappaport, der tilhører den del af venstrefløjen, der hele tiden slår ud efter kameraet, når de laver små selfie videoer med deres altid vrede politiske udgydelser, er blevet så forbitret, at han overvejer at stemme på Trump.

Tillykke til ham, ikke for at have ‘set lyset’, eller komme over på den ‘rigtige side’, men for at veje konsekvenserne af en regerings politik over sit TDS. Det er en evne Sam Harris, den berømte ny-ateist, ikke ejer, som mente at om så Biden personligt myrdede små børn, så var Trump stadig et værre menneske. Argumentet var nemlig, at Trump havde stiftet Trump University. True story.
Og så er der desperationen, som den kom til udtryk på MSNBC, da den tidligere Demokratiske Senator Claire McCaskill, mente at Trump var værre end Hitler, fordi omend han ikke ville invadere sine nabolande og drømte om verdensdominans fordi han var uden ideologisk kerne, så var han narcissist der bare ville se sig selv som præsident.
“A lot of people have tried to draw similarities between [Benito] Mussolini and [Adolf] Hitler and the use of the terminology like ‘vermin’ and the drive that those men had towards autocracy and dictatorship,” the Missouri Democrat said during an appearance Tuesday on the network, first highlighted by Mediate. “The difference, though, I think makes Donald Trump even more dangerous, and that is he has no philosophy he believes in.”
McCaskill said Trump is a unique type of authoritarian figure, noting he “is not trying to overcome a neighboring country like [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is in Ukraine. He is not going for a grandiose scheme of international dominance.”
“All he wants … is to look in the mirror and see a guy who’s president,” she said. “All he cares about is selfish self-promotion. That’s the only philosophy he has. Which makes him even more dangerous.”
“Say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism Dude, at least it’s an ethos” som Walter pointerede.
På samme kanals Morning Joe med Joe Scarborough og Mika Brzezinski mente man at “[Trump] will imprison, he will execute whoever he’s allowed to imprison, execute, drive from the country… just look at his past.” Hvis Forfatningen giver ham mulighed for det, kan det ikke være galt.
Repræsentanten Dan Goldman, der er noget af en limhjerne, sagde til MSNBCs Jenn Psaki, tidligere talskvinde for præsident Biden at Trumps retorik bliver stadigt farligere og han er destruktiv og en trussel imod demokratiet og derfor “has to be eliminated!”
Men sammenlign den mentalitet hvor man mener at Trump er Hitler, der vil henrette alle sine fjender med komikeren Dave Chapelles, da han af et publikum bliver spurgt ‘hvad fanden’, der vil ske, hvis Trump bliver genvalgt: “I’ll probably get a significant tax break”. Hvem lytter voksne til?
