Zuckerberg’s sudden regret only came after his company fought for years to conceal the evidence of its work with the government to censor opposing views. Zuckerberg was finally compelled to release the documents by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and the House Judiciary Committee.

Now forced to admit what many of us have long alleged, Zuckerman is really, really sorry. 

Zuckerberg stayed silent as Musk was viciously attacked by anti-free speech figures in Congress and the media. He was fully aware of his own company’s similar conduct but stayed silent.

When the White House and President Joe Biden repeatedly claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, Facebook continued to withhold evidence that they too were pressured to suppress the story before the election.

When the censorship system was recently put before the Supreme Court in Murthy v. Missouri and the justices asked about evidence of coordination and pressure from the government. In Murthy, states successfully showed lower courts that there was coercion from the government in securing an injunction. The Biden administration denied such pressure and the Court rejected the standing of plaintiffs, blocked an order to stop the censorship, and sent the case back down to the lower court.

Zuckerberg still remained silent.

I stedet promoverede Zuckerbergs Facebook censurens – eller indholdsmoderationen, som Facebook foretrækker at kalde det – lyksaligheder og havde reklamer med ‘relaterbare’ unge mennesker født i 1996, så man kunne lære “people to stop fearing the censor and love “content modification.”” Og det er sket på statens vegne.

Vi vidste allerede dengang at Mayorkas og konsorter løj i et væk, og Zuckerberg havde længe talt om sin andel i censuren. Han forklarede modsætningen i at balancere det frie ord, hvis man også påtager sig en rolle som “ansvarlig” således

“Just take some of the stuff around COVID earlier in the pandemic where there were real health implications, but there hadn’t been time to fully vet a bunch of the scientific assumptions. Unfortunately, I think a lot of the kind of establishment on that kind of waffled on a bunch of facts and asked for a bunch of things to be censored that, in retrospect, ended up being more debatable or true. That stuff is really tough, right? It really undermines trust.”

Og til Joe Rogan forsøgte han at nedtone Facebooks medskyldighed i censuren af historien om Hunter Bidens bærebare i lyset af, at det daværende Twitter censurerede uden nåde

The background here is that the FBI, I think, basically came to us, some folks on our team, and they said: “Hey, just so you know, you should be on high alert! We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there is about to be some kind of dump of.. that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.”

So our protocol is different from Twitter’s. What Twitter did is they said ‘you can’t share this at all’. We didn’t do that. What we do is we have, if something is reported to us as potentially misinformation, important misinformation – we also have this third party fact checking program because we don’t wanna be deciding what’s true and false – and for the, I think it was 5 or 7 days, when it was basically being determined whether it was false, the distribution on Facebook was decreased. But people was still allowed to share it. 

Det er en Zuckerberg der kæmper med vage formuleringer, som Rogan spørger, hvor meget den historie blev dæmpet. Men Zuckerberg bekræfter, at FBI, der i et år havde været i besiddelse af Hunter Bidens bærbare og var klar over ægtheden af indholdet, bevidst blandede sig i den amerikanske valghandling, ved at presse it-virksomhederne til at censurere en afgørende nyhedshistorie. And the next person who says any of us are election deniers or there’s no evidence can take a hike. Our elections are so fraudulent and corrupt because of actors like this. Never mind the 51 who signed off on the Hunter Biden fake Russian collusion letter that clearly changed the outcome of the 2020 election (and it was @realDonaldTrump ’s CIA Director that got it through the CIA w/ help from the current SECSTATE Tony Blinken who shepherded it through to completion). 

Det er endnu en afgørende vending, hvor Tulsi Gabbards og Robert F Kennedy Jr.s anbefalinger af Trump, Zuckerberg har for vælgersvinget. Ikke blot vil det være muligt at debattere på mere lige vilkår, men især Kennedys anbefaling af Trump og Trumps omfavnelse af et par af Kennedys mærkesager, som miljø og fødevaresikkerhed, gør det muligt for unge mennesker, at turde tage springet uden at skulle øve vold på deres politiske identitet. Det bliver med andre ord comme il faut at stemme på Trump. Og hvordan vil den fortsatte dæmonisering så tage sig ud?

For at bevare håbet om den ny-feudale fremtid, smed specialanklager Jack Smith en ny sigtelse efter Trump, skønt timingen ligner et forsøg på at påvirke valget. Det var sluppet af sted med deres løgne, havde det ikke været for X. Som Musk sagde “Just want to reiterate that this platform really is meant to support all viewpoints within the bounds of the laws of countries, even those of people with whom I vehemently disagree and personally dislike.”
