Den tidligere udenrigsminister Hillary Clinton sagde “There needs to be a formal deprograming of the cult members“. Clinton, som jeg har skrevet om tidligere, afløste John Kerry, som udenrigsminister og forleden, beskrev han i beklagende vendinger, ytringsfriheden, som en klods om benet på ordentlig regeringsførelse
And I think the dislike of, and anguish over social media is just growing and growing and growing. It’s part of our problem, particularly in democracies in terms of building consensus around any issue. It’s really hard to govern today!
The referees we used to have to determine what is a fact and what isn’t a fact have kind of been eviscerated to a certain degree, and people self select where they go for their news and for their information. And the you just get into a vicious cycle.
So it’s really, really har to build a consensus today than in any time in 45-50 years I’ve been involved in this. You know, there is a lot of discussion now, about how you curb those entities in order to guarantee that you are going to have some accountability on facts etc.
But look, if people goes to only one source and the source they go to is sick, and has an agenda, and they are putting out disinformation, our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to just, you know, hammer it out of existence. So what we need is to win the ground, win the right to govern by hopefully winning enough votes so you are free to be able to implement change.
Now obviously there are some people in our country that are prepared to implement change in other ways…
“Do you believe Democracy can survive unregulated social media?” spørger mødelederen og Kerry svarer på vegne af Systemet CIA
I think democracy are very challenged right now. And have not proven they can move fast enough or big enough to deal with the challenges we are facing. And to med that is part of what this race, this election is all about. Will we break the fewer in the United States?
New York Post bringer uddrag fra Miranda Devines seneste bog “The Big Guy: How a President and His Son Sold Out America”. I første uddrag, ‘How a circle of spies covered up Biden scandals’ beskrives hvorledes efterretningsvæsenet kvalte historien om Hunter Bidens bærbare, Som Scott Adams minder om, kender man ikke spillet, hvis ikke man kender spillerne. Hvem hjælper hvem
Working for Joe, Blinken learned the crude ways of Tammany Hall and soon became embedded in the senator’s private life. He was an older brother figure to Joe’s adult sons, Beau and Hunter, and a frequent weekend visitor to his Delaware compound where he would join the family and assorted staffers at the kitchen table as they plotted the disastrous 2008 presidential campaign.
His wife, Evan Ryan, a comely former Hillary Clinton staffer, worked on that campaign as deputy manager and went on to become White House cabinet secretary in the Biden administration.
As different as they were, Blinken’s career became firmly entwined with Joe’s over the decades. When Joe was tapped by Barack Obama to be his running mate, Blinken became national security advisor to the vice president and rose to deputy secretary of state. He waited out the Trump years in a series of lucrative consultancies and ran Joe’s University of Pennsylvania think tank, the Penn Biden Center.
Even as Twitter and Facebook, in collusion with the FBI, censored The Post, and the mainstream media collectively looked the other way, the Biden campaign knew that the sheer weight of the evidence would eventually be impossible to ignore.
Blinken’s solution was to set in motion one of the most brazen dirty tricks in US electoral history. Using the intelligence community to sound the false alarm of “Russian disinformation,” ground already prepared by corrupt elements inside the FBI, he set out to discredit the whole laptop story.
First, he phoned CIA veteran Mike Morell for advice on combating The Post’s reporting. Morell, 62, was thrilled the campaign was asking him for help. After more than 30 years of loyal service to the CIA, he’d never made it to the top. He’d come close — serving as acting director twice.
The boyish, bespectacled, Ohio-born son of an autoworker and a homemaker quit the CIA in 2013 after being passed over for the top job. But he hadn’t given up hope of fulfilling his life’s ambition. When he got a call from Blinken, he saw his chance, at last, to be CIA director in a Biden administration.
Morell could not have been more eager to please. He would later testify to Congress that Blinken’s phone call prompted him to organize 50 intelligence colleagues to sign a letter falsely insinuating that the damning material from Hunter’s laptop published by The Post was Russian disinformation.
The Dirty 51 letter, as it came to be known, was timed to appear on the eve of the final presidential debate, to maximize its benefit to Joe, by giving him a “talking point to push back on [President] Trump on this issue,” as Morell put it.
Blinken followed up his call a few hours later, emailing Morell a new, anonymously sourced, thinly reported — but conveniently timed — USA Today article claiming that the FBI was examining whether Hunter’s laptop was part of a “smoke bomb of disinformation pushed by Russia” to damage Biden.
At the bottom of Blinken’s email was the signature block of Andrew Bates, the Biden campaign’s director of rapid response. The Biden campaign was orchestrating the Dirty 51 letter. This was the real disinformation operation — 51 of the most powerful people in the intelligence world were uniting to deceive the American people and help Joe win the 2020 election.
Og selvfølgelig var det ‘russerne’
Moscow will “do anything possible to help Trump win and/or to weaken Biden should he win. … A ‘laptop op’ fits the bill, as the publication of the emails are [sic] clearly designed to discredit Biden. … It is high time that Russia stops interfering in our democracy.”
Morell sent the draft letter to his network of intelligence contacts, explaining in an email that he had “drafted the attached because we believe the Russians were involved in some way in the Hunter Biden email issue and because we think Trump will attack Biden on the issue at this week’s debate and we want to give the VP a talking point to use in response.”
Over the next two days, he gathered signatures from 51 former intelligence officials. Five former CIA directors signed — Mike Hayden, Leon Panetta, John Brennan, John McLaughlin (acting), and Morell (acting) would sign — as well as former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, eight CIA intelligence officers, seven analysts and four chiefs of staff; 41 of the 51 signatories were former CIA.
He asked them to “highlight your Russia work” in their affiliations when they signed the letter and assured them that he would “clear the statement with the Publication Review Board at CIA” in record time.
Extraordinarily, the letter appeared to have been approved at the very highest levels of the CIA, although that unsavory matter was kept hidden for more than three years, until it was prised out of the CIA’s email archives by congressional investigators.
Det var ikke første gang, fortæller Devine videre, at CIA havde hjulpet Bidens, som dengang de ”interfered with the IRS investigation into Hunter, his business partners had been asked to become CIA informants, and Burisma had the whiff of a CIA operation.”
These are the people responsible for the weapons-of-mass-destruction intelligence hoax that justified the Iraq war, and the warrantless spying on American citizens that followed 9/11. They are devotees of color revolutions and regime change to preserve US global dominance. They work together in the same think tanks and lucrative consultancy firms. They speak at the same events and on liberal TV shows, write for the same publications, pal around with the same journalists, and some even pretend to be journalists. They retweet each other’s anti-Trump memes and share hawkish views about Russia.
Lloyd Billingsley giver i Frontpage Magazine et lille intenst portræt af den tidligere CIA direktør Brennan “author of Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies at Home and Abroad. Note the order in the subtitle(!)” og hans idiosynkrasier
Brennan “carried a mental catalog of the many unfavorable impressions of Mr. Trump I had accumulated over the previous decades” a man relying on “intimidation, untruths, ruthless litigation and bankruptcy laws.” For Brennan, “no individual came close to Trump’s dishonesty, unabashed self-aggrandizement, and demagogic rhetoric.”
After Trump trounced Republican opponents in the primaries “it was undeniable that he possessed a charisma that allowed him to repackage his political snake oil as a magical national exlixir.” Brennan was “shocked at his electoral college victory” but could not understand how so many voters could back him for president. Nothing here about the damage done to the nation by the composite character president David Garrow described in Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama. As his CIA boss sees it, the voters must have been tricked.
Brennan decides that “Vladimir Putin personally ordered the influence campaign to boost Donald Trump’s election prospects while discrediting Hillary Clinton so that her anticipated presidency would be crippled from the start.” Undaunted recycles the Russia hoax, but there’s more to Brennan’s hatred of Trump.
The former CIA boss, who describes Crossfire Hurricane as “an ongoing and very sensitive operation,” professes to know nothing about Andrew McCabe’s actions, but exploded with anger when Trump fired McCabe just short of retirement. Brennan told his wife that Trump is “evil, despicable, and vile” and posted a tweet proclaiming:
“When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may destroy Andy McCabe but you will not destroy America. America will triumph over you.”
With Brennan it’s personal, but as Undaunted makes clear, it’s also about business. Like Obama, Brennan is an Islamist, regarding jihad as “a holy struggle in pursuit of a moral goal” and having nothing to do with violence and terrorist attacks.
President Trump, by contrast, not only called out “radical Islamic terrorism” but in 2019 took out Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the founder and leader of ISIS, the most ruthless and violent terror organization anywhere in the world.” In early 2020, Trump took out Iran’s Qasem Soleimani, “the number-one terrorist anywhere in the world.” Neither terrorist is mentioned in Undaunted but Trump’s takedowns surely infuriated Brennan, who had an even bigger policy beef with the president.
Brennan says he will “always regard the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which reversed Iran’s determination to obtain nuclear weapons capabilities, to be one of the Obama Administration’s crowning achievements.” Like Obama, Brennan touts the deal as a “tremendous boon to Israel’s security.”
President Trump took the United States out of the Iran deal which, he contended, “failed to protect America’s national security interests” and “enriched the Iranian regime and enabled its malign behavior, while at best delaying its ability to pursue nuclear weapons and allowing it to preserve nuclear research and development.” That doubtless got to Brennan, enraged when Trump lifted his security clearance.
In 2020, when Undaunted was published, Brennan says “my top-secret code-word clearances remain intact. I still have a CIA badge that allows me to access CIA facilities.” That same year, Brennan was signatory to the letter proclaiming Hunter Biden’s laptop “Russian disinformation.” Undaunted doesn’t cover that operation but in other ways the author tips his hand.
In 1976, presidential candidates included Democrat Jimmy Carter, former Democrat and independent Eugene McCarthy, Libertarian Roger MacBride Ben Bubar of the Prohibition Party, Socialist Party USA candidate Frank Zeidler, and Lester Maddox of the American Independent Party. Brennan voted for Gus Hall of the Communist Party USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the USSR.
The CIA never should have hired Brennan in the first place, but in 2013 the composite character president put him in charge. As it happens, Obama’s beloved “Frank” from Dreams from My Father was Frank Marshall Davis, the black Communist who dedicated his life to the USSR’s all-white Stalinist dictatorship. According to coincidence theory, these connections are pure happenstance and mean nothing.
“We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values.” sagde John F Kennedy og konkluderede “For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
“After the Kennedy assassination, there has been no president; there have only been factotums of the system.” sagde Jeffery Sachs.
