Man holdt et valgmøde fordi man følte sig udkonkurreret af Trumps besættelse af størrelse og igen havde man lokket folk til med løftet om at de kunne se en superstjerne, den folkekære sangerinde Bøjnse, som holdt en kort tale og gik igen. “I am a former prosecutor. Donald Trump’s DNA is all over Project 2025” mente Kamala Harris det var betimeligt at minde om, selv om de færreste ved havde det er.
Den Demokratiske Repræsentant John Fetterman mente at hans hjemstat Pennsylvania var Trumps: “Anybody who spends time driving around, and you can see the intensity. It’s astonishing.”” Eric Daugherty skrev at “EITHER, this race is a total blowout…. or the campaign is making a huge mistake by not spending those days in PA/MI/WI.”
IMHO, it would take some serious sabotage or malpractice from a (VERY) competent 2024 Trump campaign to make this move without absolute confidence in why it’s making the move.
Also, watch the Harris campaign: she’s rushing around in urban areas where turnout is lagging, and shuffling around ad-buys between Milwaukee and Philadelphia.

We have every right to demand that our… the men in our lives do better by us. We have to use our voices to make these choices clear to the men that we love. Our lives is worth more than their anger and disappointment. And we are more than just baby making vessels!
And if you are a woman who lives in a household of men that don’t listen to you or value your opinion just remember that your vote is a private matter regardless of the political views of your partner. You get to choose, you get to use your judgement and cast your vote for yourself and the women in your life. Remember women, standing up for what is best for us can make the difference in this election.

Why on earth is this race even close? I lay awake at night wondering what in the world is going on. The qustion for me isn’t whether Kamala is ready for this moment…the real question is, as a country, are we ready for this moment?

I suspect that many people, even people who are her partisans, are realizing something quite shocking. It’s this: she knows less about policy, news, existing public controversies, and even recent history, than most people who read X or NYT or even just listen to the news on radio or TV. For that matter, I suspect that just about any person on the street knows more.
It’s like she hasn’t really paid much attention to anything for years. Interviewers are trying their best to be kind to her, but even the slightest bit of push on what she knows turns up a big nothing. It’s not that she is being cagey or clever. The trouble is that she truly does not know.
It’s hard to understand why. It could be that she has, for most of her career, been able to outsource knowledge and understanding to others. She has always just been a smiling face, the socializer, the spouter of bromides, and gotten by with faking it. After a while, it probably doesn’t feel like faking; it feels like this is the way the job is supposed to be. She has not known any other way.
Now she is expected to play the part of someone who knows some minimum something about a range of issues, and she simply cannot deal with it. What’s remarkable is that her champions are as mortified by this as anyone.
