Ivy League schools across the US canceled classes, postponed exams and told students they could color in with crayons and offered milk and cookies to cope with Donald Trump‘s resounding victory in the presidential election.

Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, which is Donald Trump’s alma mater – told students they could take the day off.

At Harvard, classes ranging from applied math to the study of ancient Greek heroes were called off, The Harvard Crimson reported.

University of Pennsylvania professors hastily adjusted exam schedules and offered additional support to students reeling from Trump’s win, The Daily Pennsylvanian reported.

At Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, a ‘Self-Care Suite’ for students offered students the chance to play with Legos, doodle with crayons, and munch on milk and cookies ‘in recognition of these stressful times,’ The Free Press reported.

“White Dude For Kamala Harris Meltdown In Front Of Austin City Council” – en tragedie ført til protokols. Og “A California public school teacher had a total meltdown in class because Trump won” og siger blandt mange andre ting

Donald Trump won.. because Black men and Brown men didn’t show up to vote for Kamala Harris. I know a lot of Latino men on this campus that love Donald Trump and he has called their mothers rapists. He has called their fathers rapists.. and they did vote for him.

Ironisk nok ser læreren ud til at være “listed as the school’s advisor for the “AP Mental Club”, hvis formål det er “To focus on mental health and social resources for those students in an advanced placement course.. To experience social emotional wellness firsthand“. “The public is again being told to ignore the man behind the curtainskriver Jonathan TurleyHowever, much of the public has already left

It also may not be such a surprise that New York Gov. Kathy Hochul would label over half of the electorate as “anti-American” for voting for Trump or other Republican politicians. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced that we are now officially moving into a dictatorship due to this democratic election.

It is the media elite that was most interesting to watch. Obviously, the response on MSNBC and CNN were expected as figures like contributor Claire McCaskill wept on air.

However, other news organizations like CBS News have long maintained claims of neutrality even as their networks were criticized for openly pushing the Harris-Walz ticket.  That included the alleged biased handling of the vice-presidential debate as CBS insisted that its hosts and journalists were completely neutral in the election.

Yet, after the election, there was CBS News anchor John Dickerson getting choked up on national television in an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Dickerson chose to go on a show that has been openly anti-Trump for years. Nevertheless, many were surprised that, even days after the election, Dickerson was still overwhelmed by grief.

Colbert asked: “How would you explain that to a 14-year-old today? How would you explain this election?”

“I’ll try not to think about my boys because,” Dickerson started to respond before losing his composure.

A Minnesota dad who ranted against President-elect Donald Trump online shot and killed his wife, ex-partner, and his two sons before turning the gun on himself, according to authorities.

(…) “My mental health and the world can no longer peacefully coexist, and a lot of the reason is religion,” Anthony Nephew wrote in July.

“I am terrified of religious zealots inflicting their misguided beliefs on me and my family. I have intrusive thoughts of being burned at the stake as a witch, or crucified on a burning cross.

“Having people actually believe that I or my child are Satan or, the anti-Christ or whatever their favorite color of boogie man they are afraid are this week.”

(…) “Gilead here we come,” he wrote, referencing “The Handmaid’s Tale,” a dystopian novel-turned-Hulu series in which women, who have been stripped of their rights, are forced to reproduce for the ruling class.

Bill Maher fik sit publikum til at grine begejstret(!), da han sagde “Kamala underperformed in every demographic, although she is still polling among illegal immigrants who want sex change operations”. MSNBCs Joy Reid var ikke i højt humør, da hun på TikTok sagde at hvide kvinder havde svigtet så meget at sorte kvinder havde mistet interessen i at redde America

“I just want to give some free advice to the White progressive women who may be thinking about marching against the Trump victory, maybe putting back on the P-word hats and doing that thing, I would just say probably don’t send any of those invites to any Black women. I’m just going to tell you right now they’re not coming,” she said.

“Like, I’m pretty sure Black women have resigned from the ‘Save America’ coalition,’ ‘Save Democracy’ coalition and definitely the ‘Save the Democratic Party’ coalition,” Reid added.
