It’s a right wing manufactured right wing premise in order to sustain the media. The media got plenty of things to attack them for. And there are MSNBC and CNN and pundits that Absolutely carried water for Joe Biden. But they are not journalists! They are former strategists that carried water for Joe Biden!
The journalist David Ignatius wrote a very profile column in october of 23 saying ‘is he really running again?’ ‘This doesn’t seem like a good idea!’ People like me were promoting Dean Phillips’s campaign because he was running.

Two weeks before the debate made Biden’s cognitive decline inescapable, @washingtonpost gave “Four Pinocchio’s” to allegedly edited videos showing Biden clearly displaying cognitive problems, dismissing them as “pernicious” efforts “to reinforce an existing stereotype” while quoting the White House to say the videos were “cheap fakes” — all to defend Biden against criticisms about his age and well-being.
That story came four days after a previous effort from @washingtonpost to write off these videos as Republican efforts to mislead voters: proof, the Post claimed, that “the politics of misinformation and conspiracy theories do not stop at the waters edge.”
To put a point on it: how can anyone claim that parroting the White House’s claims that real videos were “conspiracy theories” anything but an active cover up?
This isn’t about innocent objections. This is partisan hatchetry.
And these efforts go back months before that flurry.
When Special Counsel Hur put out a report revealing Biden’s cognitive issues, the @washingtonpost equated Biden forgetting the year his son died to anyone mixing up a name.
Again: this isn’t journalism. This is evasive PR.

“The media is in a fight with the Democratic left now because of the scandal of Joe Biden.”
He described a quiet blame game behind the scenes. Democrats were accusing the press of covering up Biden’s mental decline, while journalists were firing back, saying they never had real access to begin with.
“The Democratic left is saying, well, you were a journalist. If you thought he was demented or cognitively challenged, why didn’t you report it?” Hanson explained. “But the journalists are saying we couldn’t get close to him. He looked okay for us because you had him in such a guarded environment. In truth, they’re both guilty.”
He pointed to the White House briefings as proof. “Do you remember those press conferences by Karine Jean-Pierre?” he asked.
“Did anyone ever hear one—one—question on those daily or 3 or 4 times a week press conferences, ‘Ms. Jean-Pierre, is Joe Biden cognitively able to navigate himself to the podium? What is the nature of his cue cards? Have you had a Montreal cognitive assessment of him?’ There was nothing.”
In Hanson’s view, it wasn’t just political shielding—it was full cooperation.
“It was a combination of the Democratic Party, the Biden insider, and the media.”
And something else had shifted. Hanson said that in the absence of real leadership, the press had taken on a new role.
“Very quickly, the media has gained a lot of influence and power in the opposition because there is no opposition in the Democratic Party,” he said.
Then VDH named the last weapon the media has against Trump:
“So in lieu of an alternate agenda, the media has taken it upon themselves to use the only strategy that the Democratic Party can come up with—and that is to attack Donald Trump.”
Medierne sviner altså Trump og hans regering til 24/7 og hoverer, hvis hans popularitet tager et relativt dyk.
