Så er der drama i MAGA land, i hvert fald blandt internetdebattørerne og influencerne, der vil have den fulde ucensurerede sandhed om alting Epstein, fornavn Jeffrey. Der er stor skuffelse over at Trumps regering ikke ser ud til at ville afsløre, hvad mistanken er, at Epstein var efterretningstjenestens honeypot, som ikke blot blev brugt mod spioner og diplomater fra fremmede magter, men også til at afpresse magtfulde mennesker i USA og således en effektiv tommelfinger på magtens vægtskål.
Men inden vi kommer så langt, er det alligevel værd at lytte til den legendariske juraprofessor emeritus Alan Dershowitz, der som Epsteins advokat fik forhandlet den påståede ‘sweetheart deal’ på plads, som mange peger på er efterretningsvæsenets hånd. Dershowitz fortæller at Epstein ikke var glad for sit forlig, som indebar at han skulle sidde fængslet godt et år og indrømme at han var sex-krænker. Dershowitz er selv blevet beskyldt af en af Epsteins ofre, for at være en af de klienter, der krænkede løs på de unge piger, men Dershowitz benægter hårdnakket og anklagen blev siden trukket tilbage. Og for at sparke døren helt ind for yderligere konspirationer, så er Dershowitz anklager sidenhen død.
Dershowitz har altså set Epstein dokumenterne, som de tog sig ud dengang, og kalder det en ‘nothing burger’. Listen over klienter, som skulle vise de forskellige sexkrænkere, eksisterer ikke. FBI har derimod en liste med ofre og deres anklager mod forskellige mænd som sex-krænkere. De navne kender Dershowitz, men ikke justitsministeriet, da det er domstolenes afgørelser, og ingen af navnene, siger Dershowitz, er magtfulde mennesker i indflydelsesrige embeder. Dershowitz fortæller yderligere at han gerne ser alt fremlagt for offentligheden og mener at medierne har en mulighed for, i ytringsfrihedens tjeneste under henvisning til offentlighedens interesse, at få agtindsigt.
Han fortæller også, at Epstein fik politiet til at opsætte kameraer i hans hus, fordi en medarbejder stjal penge og en skyder. Han giver ikke meget for at Epstein, i hvis hus Dershowitz flere gange har overnattet med sin familie, havde opsat videokameraer for at kunne afpresse folk. Følgeligt tror han heller ikke på, at han arbejdede for Mossad, da han ville have brugt det med fordel, som led i hans forlig. Han afviser også at han blev myrdet, men er åben for at han fik hjælp til sit selvmord, ved at han fik fred fra cellekamerat og vagter. Han var ikke i en position til at overbevise omverdenen om sin store betydning i en konspiration, der ville have gjort ham farlig.
Og hans enorme formue kom sig af at han var ganske god til at hjælpe folk med deres finanser. Han mener videre at rygtet om hans forbindelser til Mossad stammer fra at hans kæreste Ghislaine Maxwell, der nu sidder i fængsel for alfonseri, havde en far, der måske havde arbejdet for Mossad.
Nogle vil nok bidrage til konspirationsteorierne med at en kvinde anklagede Dershowitz for krænkelser og selv om hun trak anklagen tilbage, døde hun senere under nogle omstændigheder. Andre vil, som Scott Adams påpege, at man ikke ved om Dershowitz selv arbejder for efterretningsvæsenet, som man kan gøre på mange måder. Internettet har et abegilde af en anden verden.
Som Scott Adams minder om er præsidenten, den udøvende magt, valgt til at træffe beslutninger på en baggrund vi, som borgere ikke kan få indsigt i. Det er den tillidserklæring der er fundamentet for hele systemet. Hvis ikke vi synes det er godt nok, kan vi efter en rum tid skifte regeringen ud og se om det bliver bedre. Og til Dershowitz insiderviden skal nævnes, at den blev til dengang(!) i 2008. Efterretningsvæsenet, CIA for at være mere præcis, kan have fået ham ind på kortet netop fordi det var en opsigtsvækkende sag, jvf Dershowitz engagement, og da hvervet Epstein og hans organisation til deres formål.
“There’s clear evidence Epstein operated on behalf of Israeli intelligence” siger Benny Johnson og tilføjer “Epstein himself boasted about being both a CIA agent and a foreign operative”. Michael Shellenberger følte sig derfor også røvrendt for al det journalistiske arbejde, han og hans uafhængige kolleger havde lavet for at afdække den ‘dybe stat’ og således validere Trumps og hans MAGA bevægelse
On April 28, 2025, in a candid off-the-record exchange caught on video, Bondi told a bystander, “There are tens of thousands of videos… and it’s all with little kids.” She later reiterated on May 7 that these were “videos of Epstein with children or child porn.”
Bondi’s comments directly contradicted the official stance of the administration, which has dismissed calls for a client list and slowed efforts to release the full contents of the Epstein files. Despite Trump’s campaign promises to dismantle the deep state and hold elites accountable, his administration now appears to be protecting the same intelligence and law enforcement networks it once condemned.
Strong evidence suggests that Epstein was part of a sex blackmail operation tied to intelligence agencies. Visitor logs show that William Burns, who served as CIA Director under President Biden, visited Epstein’s New York townhouse multiple times. The Wall Street Journal reported those visits in 2023 based on Epstein’s private calendar. In 2017, Alex Acosta, the Justice Department official who gave Epstein his 2008 plea deal, told Trump transition officials that he was told to back off Epstein because he “belonged to intelligence.” The Justice Department later admitted that all eleven months of Acosta’s emails from that period had disappeared.
This failure to follow through seriously undermines Trump’s explicit commitments to reform and shine light on the deep state. This is not just about Epstein. The Trump administration has not been particularly transparent about much else. The CIA, to its credit, released an internal evaluation last week admitting it had erred in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment by claiming that Russia “aspired to” help elect Trump. But it stood by the overall assessment, signaling the agency’s reluctance to admit fault, its continued defensiveness in the face of mounting evidence, and its impunity. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has disclosed a limited amount of information about intelligence community abuses during the pandemic, including the targeting of COVID vaccine dissenters as potential violent extremists. But beyond that, the Trump administration has released very little, even on issues where transparency would appear to be in its political interest. The administration has kept classified large volumes of material related to COVID origins, the FBI’s role in Russiagate, the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, and unidentified anomalous phenomena.
It is thus hard not to conclude that the intelligence community continues to operate in violation of the constitutional system of checks and balances by evading meaningful congressional oversight. The Constitution grants Congress the power and responsibility to oversee the executive branch, including intelligence agencies, through budgetary control, public hearings, and access to classified information. And yet the intelligence community is withholding and heavily redacting documents, delaying responses to lawful inquiries, and using national security classifications to avoid scrutiny.
This persistent obstruction undermines the legislative branch’s ability to hold agencies accountable and distorts the balance of power the framers designed. When unelected intelligence officials can withhold information not only from the public but from elected representatives, constitutional oversight becomes a formality rather than a functioning safeguard.
Charlie Kirk og Megyn Kelly slog hårdt ned på, at Det Hvide Hus havde inviteret mange af dem til at møde præsident Trump, fik de også et møde med justitsminister Pam Bondi, kaldet Scam Bondi af flere, som ikke blot lovede dem at sandheden om Epsteins gøren og laden og alle hans forbindelser til efterretningstjenesterne og eliten generelt, men de fik også hver en eksklusivt designet mappe med nye afslørende dokumenter. De lod sig triumferende fotografere på trappen til Det Hvide Hus, men mapperne indeholdt intet der ikke allerede var blevet offentliggjort og de tog sig følgeligt alle sammen fjollede ud. Nærmest som var det en fælde, som Megyn Kelly spekulerede.
Det voldsomme pres på at fyre justisminister Bondi, som Liberal Hivemind undrer sig over, har givet rod i den ydmygelse foran Det Hvide Hus. Influencere og alternative og uafhængige journalister og kommentatorer har kun deres eget renomme og ingen stor knæsat organisation at falde tilbage på.

Do a lot of people who have no college degrees get hired to teach at prestigious schools?…”

I’ve known Bongino for a while, and was super stoked when he was tapped for Deputy Director. I appreciate Barnes’ insights, and he appreciates mine.
At this point, given the developments of the last week, I’m doubling down on my theory: Bongino is Mark Wahlberg from The Other Guys – a peacock that is not being allowed to fly.
Bongino does not have the luxury or the authority of being the ultimate decision-maker in this. Not even sure Patel has that authority. My assessment is that it’s on Bondi at this point. Only a question of whether or not it’s incompetence or malice on her part.
Trump’s response to the question from the journalist is merely him trying to take ownership of the situation, whereas I am thoroughly convinced this is something of a sabotage operation to undermine his cabinet, his FBI, and his presidency.

One thing is for certain, Trump is trying to tell us that there is more to the story that we don’t know. He alleges that the files were “written”, by the Obama/Hillary/Comey/Brennan cabal. The same people who are currently being investigated by Trump’s FBI/DOJ, for their treasonous Russia hoax. Perhaps the two investigations are related, or overlapping.
It seems Trump is suggesting the files have been doctored before he showed up in 2017, maybe the real ones have been hidden/destroyed, etc., but no doubt that there are layers to this that we do not understand. And given this situation is still ongoing, and investigations are currently open, it makes sense why they cannot tell us everything right now and have to be so indirect/secretive.

We’ve been doing this same emotional roller coaster for over a month straight. First it was the end of the world with Iran and WW3. Then it was the end of the world with the OBBB and Elon creating the “America Party” (which has already lost almost all its steam). Then it was the end of the world with the Axios memo. Then it was the end of the world with Trump’s answer at the cabinet meeting. Then it was the end of the world with Bondi/Kash/Bongino rumors.
While in reality, Trump and his cabinet have been racking up serious wins, winning in the courts, combating lawfare, draining the swamp, stopping wars, and now Obama FBI/CIA Directors, Comey and Brennan, are under criminal investigation.

Den begavede Stephen A Smith forstår ikke at uenighed i “MAGA land” er en del af den fortsatte debat mellem individer, som blot er uenige om det tredje fælles, de forsøger at få styr på. At MAGA ikke er en kult. Epstein repræsenterer ikke blot almen retfærdig harme, at rige og magtfulde mennesker kan udnytte og ødelægge svage mennesker for deres egen fornøjelses skyld, men markerer også en symbolsk styrkeprøve mellem den folkelige bevægelse og Den Dybe Stat – hvis de slipper af sted med dette, er tankegangen, er det fordi de kan. Fordi magten i sidste ende er deres.
Mange spørger om det kan true Trumps popularitet, hvis influencerne vender sig imod ham. Dette synes ikke realistisk, deres popularitet skyldes at de er et alternativ til det manisk negative etablerede mediebillede. Hvis de stiller sig over i køen for døende fortællinger, forlader de fleste af deres seere dem, som godt kan lide god omtale af deres præsident for de politiske resultater. Som Adams påpeger, er tarifferne en kontinuerlig række af positive historier, som hver uge synes at byde på endnu en handelsaftale. ‘Vi sejrer ad helvede til’. Og mens de fleste taler om at undgå en atomkrig med Rusland, bringe fred til Mellemøsten og vinde AI og robot kapløbet med Kina, kan de sidde tilbage og ælte i en konspirationsteori, der selv om den lyder besnærende, blot er en teori.
