“The purpose of the U.S. military [is] to advance American interests, to protect the homeland. Not to aimlessly fight some random war that’s arguably a repayment for a private bribe that a family member of the United States received, $5 million from Burisma,” Ramaswamy told a crowd of about 60 at a campaign event in Council Bluffs.
Ramaswamy, who’s crisscrossing Iowa in a bid to win the Republican nomination, has been highly critical of U.S. foreign policy in Ukraine on the trail.
“Was the payment to Hunter Biden corrupt? Absolutely it was. Do I think that it has some relationship towards our posture toward Ukraine? I think it’s likely that it does,” Ramaswamy said.
Ukraine-ism is now a new religion. Kyiv is the Vatican, Zelensky is the pope, and career politicians in both parties are the new faithful. It’s sad that they’ll make a pilgrimage halfway around the world while ignoring the invasion across our own southern border right here at home.
Men han kan andre ting. Forleden våndede Mike Pence, Trumps tidligere Vicepræsident, sig over, at Vivek havde betvivlet 11. September Kommissionen og sagde affærdigende “I understand he was probably in grade school on 9/11 and I was on Capitol Hill,” Pence uværdige svar blev straks skudt ned med ordene “With all due respect to the former VP, the reason the people don’t trust the government is because the government doesn’t trust the people”.
@MikePence says today he was “deeply offended” that I don’t trust that the government told us the full truth in the 9/11 Commission Report. Well, I find it offensive that our government repeatedly lies to us. Here’s the TRUTH: the FBI quietly declassified documents in 2021 that definitively reveal the government lied to the public about basic facts of Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11, until documents were declassified and they changed their story 20 years later.
Omar al-Bayoumi, a 42-year-old graduate student, welcomed, housed, set up bank accounts, and gave rent money to the first two Qaida hijackers after they landed in Los Angeles in January 2000. Al-Bayoumi claimed to have met the two terrorists entirely by chance: The 9/11 Commission report verified that Bayoumi’s altruism was in the name of hospitality, as he claimed.
The FBI, 20 years later, changed its story. In documents declassified last year, the Bureau affirmed that Bayoumi was in fact an agent of the Saudi intelligence service who worked with Saudi religious officials and reported to the kingdom’s powerful ambassador in Washington.
U.S. government officials continue to lie about other matters of public importance – the origin of Covid-19, knowledge about UAPs, Hunter Biden’s laptop, how our money is actually being spent in Ukraine, the Nashville trans shooter manifesto – with a complicit media that just accepts the prevailing narrative without question. This fuels rampant public distrust. There is no credible evidence that 9/11 was an “inside job,” but ironically, when the government systematically lies about Saudi involvement and the media runs interference, that lends plausibility to an otherwise unlikely claim.
Ham der mener at “The administrative state is a virus, a cancer”! og fortsætter
The cardinal constitutional sin of our time: government using private actors to do through the back door what government cannot do under the Constitution. As President, I’ll release the ‘state action files.’ Expose every instance in the last 5 years where a government official pressured a private actor to do what the government couldn’t itself do legally. It’ll be ugly, but we need to see it. We *can* handle the TRUTH.
Lemon fueled a fiery spat with Ramaswamy for comments the 2024 hopeful made about the freedoms of Black Americans in the post-Civil War era, which Lemon claimed “insulted” him as a Black American.
In its reporting on Lemon’s firing, The New York Times suggested the morning show blow-up was linked, saying, “The incident left several CNN leaders exasperated,” per sources.
Ramaswamy said, “It’s clear” their exchange “played in role” in what he called a “sound decision” by CNN in an interview with Fox News Digital Monday.
“I think that any network that wants to foster open debate should embrace that principle by not restricting what someone can say or saying what someone can say is restricted based on their skin color. And I think they made the right decision here,” Ramaswamy said.
Ramaswamy, who had no prior interaction with Lemon before the “CNN This Morning” sit-down, told Fox News Digital that there was an “irony” between the fallout from their exchange and the disparaging comments Lemon said about his GOP primary rival Nikki Haley being past her “prime” due to her age and gender while Ramaswamy couldn’t speak about post-Civil War history because he wasn’t Black.
He also speculated CNN’s firing of its longtime liberal host is a sign that “we’re on the cusp of national cultural revival,” recalling Netflix’s decision to stand behind Dave Chappelle’s comedy special following uproar from staffers, telling Fox News Digital he’s hoping CNN “may be going through similar kinds of cultural transformation.”
